Sanya Atlantis is located in Haitang Bay on China’s National Coast, making it the first Atlantis resort in China, covering 540,000 square meters. Developed by over 80 renowned firms, the hotel blends Eastern, Western, and local Hainan cultures. It combines hotels, entertainment, dining, shopping, performing arts, property management, and marine cultural experiences.
Opened on April 28, 2018, the resort aims to promote marine culture and become a new tourism landmark for Sanya. It features two swimming pools totaling 7,500 square meters. The resort includes 21 dining venues and 1,314 sea-view guestrooms, with the largest suite at 1,061 square meters. Energy systems provided by Hangzhou Fulton Thermal Energy support the hotel’s hot water and steam needs, earning praise for their quality and service.
Design Philosophy
Designed by Chris and Jim from London and Bristol, the RB boilers combine decades of experience to create efficient, reliable, and user-friendly systems. Built to meet British and Chinese standards, the boilers offer excellent performance and durability. Design Features The RB boilers are designed to operate at 1.0MPa with customizable pressure options. The boiler can be equipped with oil, gas, or oil and gas Fulton burners, and it can be fitted with a full modulation control system according to the user's requirements. Compact and easy to install, they feature a front smoke door for maintenance and non-destructive testing, and an integrated water level detector ensures accurate readings.
Canopy by Hilton, launched by Hilton Worldwide in October 2014, is a new lifestyle brand focused on delivering personalized and locally inspired experiences, with the slogan "Positively Yours." This approach aligns with Fulton's commitment to offering tailored designs and localized international products.
In November 2019, the second Canopy by Hilton hotel in the Asia-Pacific region opened in Jinshahu, Xiasha, Hangzhou.
For this project, Hilton Canopy selected three Fulton low-nitrogen atmospheric hot water FBH series boilers to meet the hotel’s daily needs.
The FBH series boilers feature a large furnace chamber, small water jacket, and wet back and door design for a more efficient structure. Boiler retrofitting was part of the renovation, and due to space constraints in the compact boiler room, careful consideration was given to boiler size. After several rounds of technical discussions, five Fulton EDR1000 atmospheric hot water boilers were chosen to supply domestic hot water.
