The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), jointly built by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government, is located in the Hongqiao area, offering easy access to the subway and transportation. It spans 1.47 million square meters, with 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, 100,000 square meters of outdoor grounds, a 150,000-square-meter commercial center, 180,000 square meters of office space, and a 60,000-square-meter five-star hotel. The center aims to be the world's largest and most advanced exhibition complex, with a design inspired by a four-leaf clover, incorporating Chinese elements.
In 2015, the Intercontinental Hotel of the National Convention and Exhibition Center cooperated with Fulton again, installing three RBB-1250 pressurized hot water boilers for hot water supply. The boilers have been operating reliably, earning recognition as a model boiler room in Shanghai. In 2019, a low-nitrogen retrofit was performed to meet local environmental standards. Due to the unique central reverse-flow combustion design of the RBB boiler, Fulton's FGR low-nitrogen burner was adopted. Post-retrofit testing showed NOx emissions at 75% boiler load were as low as 19 mg/m³, demonstrating excellent retrofit performance.
The RBB hot water boiler features a reverse-flow, fully wet-back design, improving thermal efficiency and reducing emissions. By increasing the furnace volume and enhancing heat exchange, it lowers the furnace outlet temperature, improving both efficiency and environmental performance. The boiler’s integrated design with the burner results in superior thermal efficiency and low nitrogen oxide emissions. The reliable performance of Fulton boilers supports the high standards for hot water supply at the Intercontinental Hotel, ensuring long-term cooperation with Fulton.
The Dalian Sports Center is the largest and most comprehensive sports and fitness facility in Northeast China. Serving as a world-class competition and training hub, it plays a pivotal role in advancing competitive sports in Dalian and promoting the city's sports industry.
The center includes ten major venues, such as stadiums, gymnasiums, tennis courts, swimming pools, baseball fields, training halls, and education and research buildings, alongside supporting facilities like parking lots. It also hosts various sports training grounds for soccer, basketball, tennis, and baseball. The Dalian Sports Center utilizes three Fulton low-NOx gas hot water boilers—two FBD-2.8-115/20-3P and one FBD-5.6-115/20-3P. All are equipped with low-NOx burners, emitting less than 50mg of NOx, meeting the strictest local environmental standards.
